Shop owner Jon Reich began drag racing in 1983 with an alcohol dragster and continues to enjoy the sport in his spare time today. He has worked as a crew member on several funny car teams out of the Twin Cities area and eventually purchased one of the top fuel funny cars he worked on.
He has owned a total of five cars and is currently running the nostalgia class funny car at weekend events in the upper midwest during the summer months.
Jon competes in the nostalgia funny car class at upper midwest drag racing events throughout the summer season. His passion for racing and mechanical expertise are the same qualities that have made JR Transmission a trusted name in the River Valley since 1987.
